Moving out of NYC in 2009

This changed much of Stephanie’s inner landscape. Moving is a transition, a catalyst for change.  After being an Artist in Residence at a few NYC UES schools, Stephanie became the S.T.E.A.M, coordinator at a small private school in Madison Connecticut in 2012. Stephanie worked with an innovative headmaster, Dr. Laurie Bottiger, together they designed many powerful S.T.E.A.M units across Preschool to 8th-grade levels.

The S.T.E.A.M units that had “Share Outs†or “Celebrations of Learning†showcased rich learning. Parents, grandparents,  siblings, and students were all impressed by the multi-layered approaches to delivering hands-on blended academic disciplines to create rich deep-dive learning experiences.
